The Group Chief Executive Officer of Data Bank Limited, Kwadwo Addai Mensah has denied reports of panic withdrawals at the bank following fears of possible collapse of data bank.
This comes after a statement circulating on social media, disclosed the bank’s inability to honour withdrawal requests by customers due to financial challenges.
Reacting to this, the CEO insisted that there was no record of distress transactions from any branch in the country urging the public to remain calm.
“Everything is normal as we have it on a daily basis. Everyday we have clients coming depositing and withdrawing, so i don’t know where you’re getting your information from” he spoke to Starrbusiness Monday.
